Tucked along the North coast of Cleveland Ohio once stood Euclid Beach Park, a field of wood and metal in which dreams and memories were born. When originally opened in 1895 it was ment to mimic Coney Island, in New York. It had all the outragious attractions, gambling and liquier one could ask for. But this was short lived. The Humphry family, who where former concession owners that had left due to moral differences with the parks previous owners, took control of the park. By 1906 the freak shows, gambling and liquire was removed and Euclid Beach was created. The Humphry idea and vision was a huge sucess. The park grew, and soon rides such as Flying Turns, Thriller, and the Racing Coster were lining the midway.
